The Right to Remain Silent

One of the most critical rights you have is the right to remain silent. You are not obligated to answer questions about where you've been or what you've had to drink. Politely informing the officer that you choose to exercise your right to remain silent can prevent you from inadvertently providing information that could be used against you.
